2The Zoning and Planning Commission assists the city in platting and subdividing property, reviewing site plans, comprehensive planning, reviewing conditional use permits, making zoning recommendations, and more. The commission plays a crucial role in guiding the city’s development and ensuring responsible and sustainable growth.

The Zoning and Planning Commission meets at 6 p.m. on the second Thursday of each month at Lebanon City Hall.

Appointment Process

Members of the Zoning and Planning Commission are appointed by the Mayor of Lebanon and confirmed by the City Council. Members serve staggered terms to provide consistent oversight and ensure effective planning for the city’s growth and development.
