2025 Gold Leaf Recipients

Mayor Lyle Anderson Gold Leaf Award

The City of Lebanon proudly announces the recipients of the 2025 Mayor Lyle Anderson Gold Leaf Award for Volunteer Service. This prestigious award honors individuals who have made significant volunteer contributions within the community. This year, Mayor Jared Carr selected Harold Bradshaw as the adult recipient and Kasey Hicks as the youth recipient.

Harold Bradshaw is widely respected for his steadfast dedication to serving others through consistent, hands-on involvement. Every Wednesday, he prepares and serves free meals at his church, welcoming anyone in the community. In addition to this work, he serves on the boards of the Salvation Army and Elevate Lebanon, is an active member of the Lions Club, and regularly volunteers at local polling locations. Harold’s selfless service and community leadership make him a shining example of volunteerism in Lebanon.


Youth Award – Kasey Hicks

Kasey Hicks, a senior at Lebanon High SchKasey Hicks (1)ool and the son of Mark Hicks and Kelly Hicks, is a standout student leader with a heart for service. He currently serves as Treasurer of the Lebanon Junior Optimist Club and is a certified Missouri Master Gardener, having installed a native plant garden at the Lebanon Library. Kasey also volunteers at Bennett Spring State Park, is an active member of the National Honor Society, and earned a coveted spot at the International Science and Engineering Fair. His volunteer work includes numerous Junior Optimist Club projects, such as supporting the Fostering Hope Closet. Kasey's leadership, initiative, and positive spirit make him a role model among his peers.
