A Lebanon man has been arrested in connection with a May 28 shooting that left one person injured on Audrey Lane.
Officers with the Lebanon Police Department took 25-year-old Jeremiah Johnson into custo
dy on August 26 without incident. Johnson is charged with first-degree assault and was booked into the Laclede County Detention Center, where he is being held without bond. He was also arrested on additional outstanding warrants.
The charges stem from an incident in the 2200 block of Audrey Lane, where officers responded to reports of shots fired on the evening of May 28. A 28-year-old Lebanon man was found with a gunshot wound shortly after the call.
Investigators determined the shooting occurred after a verbal altercation between the victim and the suspect, who had been driving erratically through the neighborhood. Johnson fled the scene in a vehicle following the incident.
Johnson was formally charged on August 22 in connection with the case.
