Council passed Bill No. 6715 to continue the agreement with Laclede Industries for recycling services. This ensures that residents can continue to recycle locally, promoting sustainability within our community.

Council passed Bill No. 6716 accepting grant funding from the Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission for constructing a sidewalk along Elm Street from Ivey to Granite Lane. Funds will also come from local dollars. This project will connect Elm Street with Nelson Park and the Sports Complex, enhancing walkability to nearby restaurants and lodging options. Walkability has been a big a desire of our citizens based on our feedback surveys and we are slowly working on improving walkability all the time. 

๐—œ๐— ๐—ฃ๐—”๐—–๐—ง: ๐Ÿž๏ธ Improved pedestrian connectivity, promoting a walkable community and connecting parks with trails.

Council passed Bill No. 6717 to authorize the purchase of Monsido, a software platform to enhance the accessibility of our website and online communications, in compliance with ADA guidelines.

Council passed the first reading of Bill No. 6720 amending the code of ordinances to make it illegal to park within six feet of a mailbox. This change addresses concerns raised by citizens at the #LevelUpLebanon event.
