Lebanon City Council welcomed Mike Evans as the new Ward 1 Councilmember in a regular meeting on July 24th.
Evans, a local business owner and member of the Lebanon Zoning and Planning Commission, was appointed by Mayor Jared Carr to fill the vacancy left by Ken Eldridge’s resignation in June. Following receiving unanimous confirmation from the council, Evans took the oath of office administered by Assistant City Administrator/City Clerk Laina Starnes. Evans will finish Eldridge’s unexpired term, which ends in April 2024.
