Lebanon@Work for the week of Sept. 14-18
The following work projects are scheduled by the City of Lebanon Public Works Department for the week of Sept. 14-18:
Street maintenance crews will be making asphalt repairs and installing street signs in various locations in the City. Street sweeping will be performed in Ward 3. Work in these areas will have only minor impacts on the flow of traffic.
Street construction crews will be excavating and installing concrete on the Springfield Road/Van Buren Street Project. Van Buren will be closed to through traffic between Commercial Street and Second Street. Traffic control devices will be in place.
The inflow and infiltration Department will be completing a video assessment and cleaning sewer lines over the next few weeks.
The construction crew will be installing a transformer bank and meter near Cherokee Street, installing a pole and anchors on Morton Road, and working on an underground conduit installation for streetlights along Van Buren Street.
The substation crew will be back feeding Substation No. 2 to install wildlife protection and lightening arrestors. Crews will also be inspecting all seven substations and one switch station.
