Lebanon@Work for the week of Nov. 11-15
The following work projects are scheduled by the City of Lebanon Public Works Department for the week of Nov. 11-15:
Street maintenance crews will be making asphalt repairs and installing street name signs in various locations in the City. Street sweeping will be performed in Ward 2. Work in these areas will have only minor impacts on the flow of traffic.
Street construction crews will be removing the triangular islands in the downtown area and replacing the curb and asphalt. There will be areas of on-street parking that will be closed while this work is being performed.
Asphalt work is planned for Utah between Sunrise and Beck, Kansas between Ohio and Beck, Iowa between Texas and Ohio, Crisp between Texas and Ohio, Texas between Utah and Kansas, and Ohio between Utah and Kansas. These roadways will be closed to through traffic while the asphalt work is being completed. Traffic control devices will be in place.
The construction crew will be replacing two poles along Evergreen Parkway and one pole near Hwy YY.
The maintenance crew will be working on service orders along with repairing two streetlight poles in the area of North Madison and College Drive.
The substation crew will be working on installing new lightning arrestors and wildlife guards in substation # 8.
The tree crew will be trimming and removing trees in the area of Farmers Lane and Bland Road.
Lebanon City Hall and Lebanon Public Works will be closed Monday in observance of Veterans Day. City facilities will reopen at 8 a.m. Tuesday.
