Lebanon@Work for the week of July 15-19
The following work projects are scheduled by the City of Lebanon Public Works Department for the week of July 15-19:
Street maintenance crews will be performing asphalt crack sealing and painting street striping in various areas in the City. Work in these areas will have only minor impacts on the flow of traffic.
Street construction crews will be replacing storm sewer culverts on Evergreen Parkway. There will be lane closures and street closures at times in this area, traffic control devices will be in place.
The maintenance crew will be replacing a secondary line on Crescent Drive. They will also be working on streetlights on the 200 block of E. Commercial Street and the streetlights in Ward # 2.
The substation crew will be working to improve the grounding grid in Substation # 1 on Van Buren Avenue.
The tree crews will be trimming and removing trees in the area of Rosewood Drive and Harwood Avenue.
Monday through Wednesday, the construction crew will be connecting wires, installing current transformers for metering a new service along North Highway 5. On Thursday and Friday, the crew will be replacing a damaged fiber box just off old Route 66.
In the Environmental Division, Inflow and Infiltration will be inspecting sewer lines throughout the City. The crew is also scheduled to be at the City of Lebanon Customer Appreciation Day at the Boswell Aquatic Center from 3 to 6 p.m. Friday, to display work equipment.
