FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Rebates for electric cooling system tune-ups available through June
Beginning April 1, Lebanon utility customers have until the end of June to take advantage of the Preseason HVAC Tune-ups Rebate Program.
If customers have their system serviced, they can qualify for a $30 rebate towards their utility bill.
Guidelines are as follows:
— Only Lebanon customers utilizing all-electric systems or heat pump with electric backup sources will be eligible.
— Applicants must be the customer of record for an active account and be non‐delinquent.
— This service must be performed by contractors registered with the city of Lebanon.
— The application form must be signed and dated by both the customer and HVAC contractor.
— A dated, detailed invoice must be submitted (with the application form) as proof of service completion.
— Failure to provide required information may result in denial of the rebate.
— Rebate values will not exceed the cost of either preseason service.
— Rebates are not available to new construction customers.
— Rebates are awarded on a first‐come, first‐served basis until program funds have been depleted.
— The City of Lebanon is not responsible for the heating and/or cooling systems performance or energy savings, and does not provide any warranties or guarantees, expressed or implied.
— The city of Lebanon reserves the right to amend or discontinue this program without notice.
To take part in the program, call city hall at 417.532.2156 and get a list of qualified HVAC contractors. Select a contractor. Once the service has been performed and paid for, submit an application form (signed by both customer and contractor) and attach a copy of the paid invoice.
Applications are available at city hall or by visiting www.lebanonmissouri.org/347/Rebate-Programs.
Currently, the city offers the $30 rebates Sept. 1 through Nov. 30 for heating systems and April 1 through June 30 for cooling systems.
