Trip Around the Ozarks for December 19, 2012

A recap of the City's weekly radio show highlighting upcoming area events:
  • Thurs. 12/20 - Christian Health & Rehabilitation of Lebanon North will have their Resident Christmas Party at 2pm, free and open to the public. Santa will be there and they will have refreshments. Contact Hayley at 417-532-9173 for information.
  • Tue. 12/25 - Christmas Day is Yulefest 2012 at the Mills Center. This is a free dinner for the public. Dinner will be served from 12 noon to 2 pm. If you are interested in volunteering or know someone who needs a meal (they will also deliver meals) please call 417-228-1047 or 417-718-4414.
  • Wed. 1/2 - Tickets for the 45th Annual Brumley Gospel Sing go on sale at www.brumleymusic.com. They have the line up available on their website and have a jam packed 4 days of top names in the business.
  • Sat. 1/5 - CBR Horizon Show-Me State Shootout Bull Riding to the Cowan Civic Center. Showtime is 7:30pm and tickets are $12 to $28, online at www.barclaypro.com or at JR’s Western Store and Graven Dodge from Dec 1- Jan 5.
  • Sat. 1/12 - Mad Dog Demolition Derby at Cowan Civic Center at 7pm. Come see the metal crushing car-smashing battle. You’ll see Mini car derby, Full-size Derby mayhem. It’s total destruction that you, your friends and family will race to attend! www.motorheadevents.com
  • Thurs. 12/24 - Lebanon Concert Association presents the play, “Church Basement Ladies 2” at 7pm. Call 417-532-2990 or visit www.lebanonconcertassociation.com for ticket information.
  • Fri. 1/25 & Sat. 1/26 - Monster Energy Arenacross & Freestyle Show at Cowan Civic Center at 7:30pm. Amazing riders compete, soaring over 60 ft in the air. From the 50cc kids, to the Pro’s on 450cc straight off the AMA Supercross circuit, these guy’s will leave you gasping in amazement! www.motorheadevents.com
  • City offices are closed December 24th, 25th and January 1st in observance of Christmas and New Year’s Day.
