If you're looking for some family fun this weekend to help celebrate Father's Day or just to celebrate the fact it's summer, the sun is shining and you're here to experience it then you have hit the jackpot in Lebanon!
All weekend long beginning on Friday, Lebanon will be home to several wonderful family events that will have an abundance of free family fun!
Friday, June 15th starting at 1 PM the Route 66 Festival will be underway at the Historic Munger Moss Motel. Attendees can participate in the classic car cruise-in, listen to the Route 66 Band and splurge on some great eats. This event runs until dark and is free!
Also on Friday, June 15th starting at 6 PM is the FBC Block Party! Come visit downtown Lebanon on Commercial and Monroe Street and experience fun for every age! Cotton Candy, Ice Cream, Food Trucks, Bounce Houses, Carnival Games and local favorite Dawson Hollow are just a few of the items on deck that are sure to keep the family entertained. This event is free aside from any food truck purchases and all are encouraged to attend!
Starting Saturday, June 16th at 9 AM will be the continuation of the Route 66 Festival at Boswell Park! Enjoy the classic car parade from the Munger Moss Motel to Boswell Park on Historic Route 66, craft booths, Route 66 Memoribilia, Live Music and Entertainment all day as well as family games, parking shuttle and yummy treats! All you need to bring is your lawn chairs! This event runs until 4 PM at Boswell Park and is free to attend!
To cap the weekend off right, The Our Town, Your Town Annual Celebration will be the Grand Finale! On Saturday, June 16th starting at 5 PM at the Laclede County Fairgrounds, the Our Town, Your Town Annual Celebration will take place. Attendees will enjoy a game zone, 50/50 raffle, inflatables, live music entertainment featuring Christian Contemporary group Selah, and to finish the night-a fantastic musically synced fireworks display! What more could you ask for in a celebration?!? Wait, did I mention it's free!!
