Floyd W Jones Lebanon Airport kicks off the Holiday Weekend Festivities with their 'Fly on the Ford' Event co-sponsored by the local EAA Chapter happening May 24-27th, 2018. 
Experience the golden age of aviation and take a flight in EAA’s immaculate Ford Tri-Motor, giving passengers an opportunity to travel back to the early days of luxurious commercial flight.  Affectionately dubbed the “Tin Goose” after its distinct all-metal look, the Ford Tri-Motor is commonly known as the first mass-produced airliner from aviation’s formative years.  Advanced online pricing and walk-up pricing is available. If you would rather your method of travel be on 4 wheels, have no fear!  The 8th Annual Wagons for Warriors will be trotting into town Friday, May 25th, 2018 at the Laclede County Fairgrounds.  After watching them parade into town on Friday, come back on Saturday and join over 30 authentic chuckwagons that have traveled from as far as North Caroline and Texas for this years event.  Entertainment begins at 10 a.m. with lunch being served starting at Noon.  $10 per person to eat and children under 5 are free.  There will also be Cowboy Church at the Wagons on Sunday, May 27th at 9 a.m.  for advanced tickets or information visit:  www.wagonsforwarriors.com

Wrap up the Memorial Day Weekend honoring the men and women that have given the ultimate sacrifice.  Join Keynote Speaker, Lt. Governor Mike Parsons at Mount Rose Memorial Park for Lebanon's Annual Memorial Day Service celebrating and honoring our heroes as well as Mount Rose Memorial Park's 65th Anniversary.  Special music from the 399th Army Band from Ft. Leonard Wood, MO and the Lebanon High School Choir. The local V.F.W. Post # 4107 Honor Guard and the Patriot Guard will join other local dignitaries at the service. The event has become a tradition in Lebanon over the past several years.

In celebrating the cemetery’s anniversary a picnic lunch will be served to all those attending. Everyone is invited and suggested to bring a lawn chair.
