The City of Lebanon has the following projects scheduled for the week of September 18th.
The water department has approximately 800 water meters that need to be changed out and the crew
is expected to begin this week. Depending on weather conditions, this change out project will take
about four weeks to complete.
Electric work continues at the Kum-N-Go project site located near Mercy Hospital. This crew is installing
conduit for a new electrical service.
Another electric crew is scheduled to work on street lights throughout various areas of Lebanon.
Construction efforts continue for the new sidewalk project along the south side of Jefferson Avenue
between Hayes and Elm Street. Southbound traffic may be reduced to one lane, and motorists are
asked to use additional caution when approaching the project site.
At the Catherine Street project, excavation efforts are almost complete as crews work to construct a
new road bed between Wood and South Street, as well as the installation of storm drain piping. The
Catherine Street project site is currently closed for construction and motorists must use alternate routes
until it’s complete.
The inflow and infiltration crew continues to video and clean Lebanon’s sewer lines. This crew is also
scheduled to move and monitor flow meters in various locations. The main areas being affected by this
work will be in and around the South King Street area.
Street maintenance crews will be street sweeping, asphalt crack sealing, and painting street striping in
various locations in the City. The tree trimming crew is working on West Madison Avenue this week.
