The City of Lebanon has the following projects scheduled for the week of September 11th.
A construction crew is scheduled to install sewer line in an alley south of and running parallel to Locust Street. Another crew has plans to install a new water and sewer service on Castle Rock Avenue. Other work on schedule for the construction team is the installation of a new water service for an apartment complex on Laclede Street and hydrant repairs in various locations.
Work continues at the Kum-N-Go project site located near Mercy Hospital. This crew is installing conduit for a new electrical service.
Another electric crew is scheduled to work on street lights throughout various areas of Lebanon.
Street light repairs are expected to take place this week at Atchley Park, on Carriage Place and along Commercial Street.
An electric crew will be on Jefferson Avenue to relocate a streetlight for the new sidewalk project, while construction efforts continue to take place for the new sidewalk project along the south side of Jefferson Avenue between Hayes and Elm Street.
At the Catherine Street project, excavation efforts continue as crews construct a new road bed between Wood and South Street. The Catherine Street project site is currently closed for construction and motorists must use alternate routes until it’s complete.
Maintenance crews are scheduled to paint new lane striping along Elm Street. To complete this work, crews must share the road with normal daily traffic. Motorists are asked to use extra caution and watch for traffic control signage and other devices when approaching the project site.
The inflow and infiltration crew continues to video and clean Lebanon’s sewer lines. This crew is also scheduled to move and monitor flow meters in various locations. The main areas being affected by this work will be in and around the South King, Laclede, and Benage area.
The tree trimming crew is schedule to work in the northwest sector of Lebanon this week.
Lebanon has contracted with Willard Asphalt to complete various street work and has set a night schedule for heavily traveled streets. Efforts will begin around 6p.m. and could last until midnight each evening. The following is a list of areas being affected;
Sunday night September 10th, work to mill a curb reveal is taking place on Copeland Road and Tower Road between Copeland and Highway 32.
Monday night September 11th, patch and wedge course work is scheduled on Copeland Road and Tower Road. And a mill curb reveal will take place on Bland Road between King James and Jefferson Avenue.
Tuesday night September 12th, the final lift of asphalt is scheduled on Copeland and Tower Road.
Wednesday night September 13th, the final lift of asphalt will take place on Bland Road.
