At the Kum-N-Go project site, located near the hospital, crews are updating the electrical service to this property.
New sidewalk construction efforts continue this week along Jefferson Avenue between Hayes Street and Elm Street.
More work is taking place for the Phase 2 Canterbury Estates Development, as a construction crew installs new sewer line and an electric crew installs new streetlights in the same general area. This work is taking place along Dara Drive from Highway 32 to the subdivision entrance.
At the Catherine Street project, construction crews are excavating for the new street bed between St. Louis Street and Sarah Street. This project site is currently closed for construction and motorists must use alternate routes until the work is complete.
The tree trimming crew will be working in the vicinity of Madison and Jackson. Street maintenance crews will be making asphalt repairs on Industrial Drive and Commercial Street. And the street sweeper will be cleaning street in various locations of the City.
Motorists are asked use extra caution and watch for traffic control signs in these areas mentioned.
Weather permitting, the inflow and infiltration crew will be smoking test sewer lines. The area being affected this week is Jackson Avenue to Washington Avenue. If the ground is too wet to smoke test, this crew will clean and video inspect various lines on South Highway 5 around Lebanon’s airport property. To view a map detailing where smoke testing is taking place, go to hover over the government tab on the City of Lebanon website and choose Public Works then click on Waste Water.
