The City of Lebanon has the following projects scheduled for the week of September 4th.
Crews are installing conduit for a new electrical service at the Kum-N-Go project site located near Mercy Hospital. Another electric crew is scheduled to work on street lights throughout various areas of Lebanon.
New sidewalk construction efforts continue this week along Jefferson Avenue, between Hayes and Elm Street.
At the Catherine Street project, excavation efforts are currently taking place to construct a new road bed between Wood and South Street. The Catherine Street project site is currently closed for construction and motorists must use alternate routes until it’s complete.
Elm Street is receiving a facelift this week, as maintenance crews are scheduled to paint new lane striping. To complete this work, crews must share the road with normal daily traffic. Motorists are asked to use extra caution and watch for traffic control signage and other devices when approaching the project site. These precautions will direct motorists safely around workers and equipment within the roadway.
The tree trimming crew is currently working along Monroe Street, then scheduled to trim trees along West Madison Avenue. The street sweeper will be working in various areas throughout the City this week.
Smoking testing of the City’s sewer line system is complete. The inflow and infiltration crew will now begin to video and clean Lebanon’s sewer lines. This crew is also scheduled to move flow meters to different locations. The main areas being affected by this work will be in and around the South King, Laclede, and Benage area.
