The City of Lebanon has the following projects scheduled for the week of August 14th.
An electric crew is scheduled to install underground conduit for fiber lines to the Mills Center, and another crew will be working at Canterbury Estate installing streetlights. The rest of the electric crews are working at the new Kum-N-Go project site near the hospital, as well as helping service crews repair streetlights in various areas around the City. The tree crew will be working in the vicinity of Monroe and Madison.
At the Catherine Street project, construction crews are excavating for the new street bed between St. Louis and Wood. Catherine Street is currently closed for construction and motorists must use alternate routes until this project is complete.
Street maintenance crews are scheduled to perform asphalt crack sealing, street sweeping, and pothole patching in various areas of the City.
New sidewalk construction continues along Jefferson Avenue. This work is currently taking place between Hayes and Pierce.
Motorists are asked use extra caution and watch for traffic control signs in these areas mentioned.
Weather permitting, the inflow and infiltration crew will be smoking test sewer lines. The area being affected is Washington Avenue southwest to Troutman Drive and from Beck Lane east to Interstate 44. If the ground is too wet to smoke test, this crew will clean and video various lines throughout the City. To view a map detailing where smoke testing is taking place, hover over the government tab on the City of Lebanon website and choose Public Works then click on Waste Water.
