Trip Around the Ozarks for October 19, 2016

Hello Friends;

On Friday night 10/21 Framing the Red will be back in town performing live at Alford’s Pub. They will start performing at 9PM. Info: 417-532-7111

Friday 10AM & 2PM and Saturday 2PM & 7PM, the Lebanon High School Drama Department will be holding multiple performances of Arthur Miller’s The Crucible in the Cowan Civic Center theater. Adults are $5 and students are $4.  

On Saturday 10/22 from 7AM to Noon is the Route 66 Rotary Run of Lebanon charity race in Lacelde County. Medals will be given to the overall male & female and top three in each age division (10 year age groups). Registration begins at 7AM at the Mills Center. COPE House will be hosting a Poker Run on Saturday 10/22 gathering at Alford’s Pub. The cost is $20 per rider and $10 per passenger or extra hand. First bike out at 11AM and last bike in at 4pm. The proceeds will go to benefit the COPE House. Info: 417-533-7111

The Lebanon Police Department will be holding a prescription take-back on Saturday 10/22 from 10AM – 2PM in the City Hall parking lot. A complete list of what will and will not be accepted is on the city’s website. Info: 417-532-3131

And lastly on Saturday night starting at 5PM there will be a Bingo Bananza at St. Francis De Sales. This is a benefit night and proceeds will go to the Laclede Literacy Council, Bull Frogs and Little Fishes, Make-a-Wish Foundation and the Knights of Columbus. Chili Supper and Vendors start at 5PM and Bingo will begin at 6PM. The cost is $25 at the door. Info: Carol 417-532-6697

Next week is Halloween and there is definitely something for everyone to do.

On Thursday the 27th the YMCA with Evergreen Investments will be having Boo Bash at the Mall from 5:30-8:30PM. This event is free and will feature bounce houses, giveaways, and tons of candy. Info: 417-588-1177

On Saturday the 29th is the Lebanon Halloween Mega Extravaganza at the Mills Center. This is a family Halloween fun event that will have free sketches, a costume contest, lots of free candy and much more. This event is presented by Lebanon MEGA Con. Info: lebanonmegacon.com

Also on Saturday the 29th is the Harley-Ween Party at Ozarks Harley Davidson. Join them for their annual Halloween Party 6:30-9:00pm in the pavilion behind the dealership. This event is open to everyone. Costume contest, games, Annual H.O.G® Chili Cook-Off, food, and more. Info: 417-532-2900

And finally on the 29th you can head out to Alford’s Pub where they will be having a Halloween Party with a performance by 7 Dollar Stereo. The live music will begin at 9PM. Info: 417-532-7111
