Trip Around the Ozarks for April 13, 2016

On April 16th is Hairy's Run for Clean Water 15K, 5K or Kid's Lap in Atchley Park. Pre-Registration is available by stopping by Hairy's Salon on Jefferson or online. Pre-register by April 5th for free shirt. Registration is also available the day of the event at 7AM. The 15K will start at 8AM followed by the 5K at 810Am and the kid's go at 9:15AM. Also on the 16th the Lebanon Farmer's Market is open for the summer. Head on over every Saturday from 8AM - 1PM and Wednesday 2PM - 6PM for some of the freshest produce in the area. The Farmer's Market is located conveniently on Jefferson by the railroad tracks. Info: https://goo.gl/rWicLE.

On Friday April 22nd LHS Project Graduation will be having their annual golf tournament. It will be a 4 person scramble at Greatlife Golf and Fitness. The night of the 22nd at the Lebanon-Laclede County Library and Route 66 Museum and Research center join Shellee Graham for a presentation of a special movie highlighting the Coral Court Motel in St. Louis located on Route 66. This event starts at 7PM. Info: http://goo.gl/O9gBUk

On April 23rd from Noon-4PM Rally at the Gasconade Bridge; Come show your support to save this historic piece of the Mother Road. Starting at 4:30 there will be a Celebration at the Munger Moss Motel for the 90th Anniversary of Route 66, 70th Anniversary of the Munger Moss Motel and the 45th Anniversary of Bob and Ramona Lehman owning and operating the motel. Featuring Jim Ross and a classic car show.

Also on April 23rd are the Annual Lebanon Recycles and Street Fair events in conjunction with the Art Guilds Spring Art show. From 9-Noon Lebanon Recycles will be happening at Public Works. Last year Laclede County kept 23 tons of hazardous household waste out of landfills and had it properly disposed of. This year the event is open to all Laclede, Camden and Miller county residents. After you drop off your recycling head over to the Earth Day Street Fair on Commercial Street between Adams and Washington. There will be live music, vendors and food. And that's not all; from the street fair you are within walking distance of the Art Guilds Spring Show where there will be fun art activities and local art on display. Info: http://goo.gl/LfxH4X

Finally on the night of April 23rd the American Legion will be having Glen Templeton back to perform. Visitors from Texas, Illinois, Oklahoma, and Kansas came in for the last show and tickets sold out quick so you'll want to get them early. The concert starts at 8PM. Info: http://goo.gl/l1i2VN
