Trip Around the Ozarks for October 7, 2015

On Saturday October 10 from 9-6 in the Civic Center will be Mid-Missouri Pet Breeders Associations Ag Days. There will be an ACA Grand Championship Show, 4H Jamboree, great doors prizes, raffles and tons of vendors for you to visit. Admission is free so stop on by to see what this event is all about. If you are looking to get out and do something active on Saturday October 10 is the Hunger Games 450 Challenge brought to you by Life Point Church, L-Life Food Bank and the Lebanon Parks Department for the second year in a row. You can participate in the 6K all terrain obstacle run themed after the Hunger Games or a scaled back 1K obstacle run. Contact the Parks department for more information. Info: 417-991-2222.

Also on Saturday October 10 the Lebanon Art Guild is having their Fall Art Walk from 10a-4p downtown. Along with the Art Walk there will be lunch available with proceeds going to the Art Guild Gallery. Come and see what our local artists have been producing, you never know something may catch your eye. Info: 417-532-1895

Starting on Friday October 16th we welcome back the Missouri Square and Round Dancers for their 56th Annual Missouri Federation of Square 'N Round Dancers Festival that will be held at the Cowan Civic Center. This year's featured caller will be Mike Hogan of Omaha, NE with featured Cuers, Jim and Carol Tucker of Lincoln, NE. If you have ever been curious feel free to drop by for the fun. On October 22nd the Lebanon Concert Association presents Four Freshman Concert. Singing with a harmony uniquely their own The Four Freshmen have enamored listeners world-wide for 65 years, while gaining recognition as one of the most influential vocal groups of all time. Their tight-knit sound inspired The Beach Boys, The Mamas and the Papas, Frankie Valli, and Manhattan Transfer. Info: lebanonmoconcertassociation.com

Also on Thursday October 22nd the City of Lebanon will be having their Annual Fall Blood Drive with the American Red Cross. It will be at the Mills Center from 11AM-4PM. To schedule an appointment go to redcrossblood.org and enter sponsor code COL.
