Trip Around the Ozarks for September 23, 2015

Hello Listeners;

Thursday the 24th- Saturday the 26th the Lebanon High School Theatre group presents The Frog Princess at the Cowan Civic Center. Starting time on Thursday and Friday are at 6:30pm and on Saturday at 1:30pm. The cost is $3 for students, $6 for adults and children under 3 are free. If you have the opportunity to catch a show come on out and help support our students.

On Friday grab the kids and head to Atchley Park for a Drive In Movie. Kiwanis and Lebanon's Parks Department are showing Hotel Transylvania. It's $3 per person or $7 per car. Info: 417-991-2222

Also, Friday and Saturday Lebanon welcomes back the American Cornhole Organization for their September Major Tournament. People from all parts of the United States will beck coming to town for this 2 day tournament. If you have any interest in the game spectator are welcome to come and watch at the Civic Center for free. Info: americancornhole.com

On Saturday 9/25 from 10-2 the LPD will be having a prescription drug take back in the parking lot at City Hall. The focus is on removing potentially dangerous controlled substances from our nation’s medicine cabinets and making homes safer. for a complete list of what will be accepted see the event on the City's event calendar. Relay for Life of Laclede County will be having an event at Boswell Park starting at 6pm this Saturday. The American Cancer Society Relay For Life is the world's largest and most impactful fundraising event to end cancer. If you have an opportunity and want to see what it's all about feel free to stop by the park. Info: RFL Event Information

Also on Saturday Mighty Oak Lodge will be hosting a Grand Opening & Bridal Expo event from 2-6pm. This is open to the public with purchase of tickets. All ticket proceeds will be donated to a local charity. There will be chances to win prizes, and gifts from local vendors that specialize in weddings and other events. On September 29th Lebanon Area Foundation will be having their annual dinner. The theme this year is the Heart of Our Community and it will be from 5-6pm at the Civic Center. Info: lebanonareafoundation.org

Just a reminder: Wednesdays and Saturdays rain or shine, are Lebanon Farmer's market days throughout the summer. Stop by for some of the freshest produce in the area. Info: www.lebanonfarmersmarket.weebly.com
