Trip Around the Ozarks for July 29, 2015

On Thursday July 30th Join Relay for Life at their Quarters for a Cure Paddle Party at the Mills Center. Doors will open at 5:30PM and the auction will start at 6:30PM. Tickets start at $5 for one bidding paddle but more can be purchased at the door. Proceeds from this event will go to benefit Relay for Life of Laclede County. Info: Facebook Page

Starting on July 31st is the 2015 Gospel Spectacular at the Civic Center. All concerts are free to the public. Contact KTTK for more information. This is a great event that leads into the Brumley Gospel Sing the following week. Info: 417-588-1435

August 3rd - 8th a very emotional exhibit, “Remembering Our Fallen,” will be on display in the Civic Center Foyer. This exhibit is a stark reminder of the ultimate sacrifice made by all of the Fallen from Missouri killed in The War on Terror while wearing our country’s uniform in a war zone. The photo exhibit, which includes military and personal photos of each of our Fallen, is traveling throughout the state and will be coming to Lebanon during that week and the community is encouraged to come and see it if they can. Join the Lebanon Area Chamber of Commerce on Tuesday August 4th for the Brumley 10th Year Celebration Night at the Mall. Live entertainment, sidewalk sales, antique car shows, cake, and more highlight this event. Mayor Anderson will be on hand to present a proclamation to the Brumley Family as well. Starting August 5th through the 8th is the 47th Annual Brumley Gospel Sing. Four days jammed packed with the best Southern Gospel and Gospel/Bluegrass music to be found anywhere. The event is taking place for the 10th year in a row at the Cowan Civic Center. On Saturday August 8th Consider Me Crafty will back. Come and see the talent of our crafters, enjoy good company, good food, and enter our raffle. Over 100 handcrafted vendors for your shopping needs along with kids activities, food, and refreshments. A portion of the proceeds go to support Breast Cancer Awareness. Info: Facebook Page

Also on Saturday August 8th starting at 3PM at I-44 Speedway come and join the Lebanon Area Chamber of Commerce for an action packed night of racing, Monster Energy Motocross and Fireworks. There will be inflatables for the kids to enjoy and vendors to peruse. The cost is $20 per carload. Info:

An lastly, on August 22 in the Cowan Civic Center Theater join Willamae and Friends as they bring some classic country music to Lebanon. The show starts at 7:30 and will have the best family friendly music and comedy. Info:
