Trip Around the Ozarks for July 8, 2015

The 2015 Laclede County Fair is in full swing. The fair which is located next to the Civic Center will be here through Saturday the 11th. Agricultural and family fun events and carnival will be going on all week. Info: Fair Info

July 17th
on Commercial Street will be the Drug Free and Happy to Be Street Fair. It will take place between the Lebanon Daily Record and the Post Office from 6:30PM to 8:30PM. There will be games with some really great prizes and free photo booth. The Lebanon Police Department will be on hand with Kane the police dog and kids will be able to play on an Airblast Inflatable. On July 18th and 19th in the Civic Center Exhibition Hall will be the 6th annual Fiber U event. This two day will have instructional classes and vendors and is open to the public. For more info visit: mopaca.org.

Ozark Visions and Ozark Nightmares are sponsoring the 6th annual “Zombie Walk” for COPE House of Lebanon on July 18, 2015. The walk will be downtown Lebanon at 5:00 PM. The PROM will start immediately after, at The Wallace Building (325 Harwood Ave.) until Midnight. Snack, punch, music, prizes, and fun will be available at the prom for the entire community to enjoy! If you don’t wish to dress up, that’s OK! Come and enjoy the dance in your street clothes. Info: 417-532-1002

On July 19th the Lebanon Airport will be having an open house and invite the public to eat lunch and support their Local Civic Air Patrol. There will be antique cars, antiques aircraft, some homemade airplanes and a B25 Mitchell Bomber to explore. On hand will be one of the ladies that helped to build these once modern marvels. The event will be from noon to 4:30PM.

On Thursday June 30th Join Relay for Life at their Quarters for a Cure Paddle Party at  the Mills Center. Doors will open at 5:30PM and the auction will start at 6:30PM. Tickets start at $5 for one bidding paddle but more can be purchased at the door. Proceeds from this event will go to benefit Relay for Life of Laclede County. Info: Realay for Life Facebook

Just a reminder: Wednesdays and Saturdays rain or shine, are Lebanon Farmer's market days throughout the summer. Stop by for some of the freshest produce in the area. Info: Farmers Market Site
