Lebanon’s Public Works Department has the following projects, weather permitting, scheduled for the week of June 22nd through the 26th.
Street maintenance crews will be addressing cracks and potholes on streets in various locations throughout the city. Traffic control measures will be in place in those work areas. Street construction crews will be installing new sidewalk curb ramps on Fourth Street at the intersections of Adams and Washington, and on Third Street at the intersection of Adams and Washington. Construction crews will continue excavation for a new street in the Lebanon Marketplace area, as well.
Water utility maintenance crews will finish projects, around town, with landscaping, and repairing fire hydrants throughout the city. Crews will also be working on the water utility at the Southdale Centre, in addition to responding to service calls and emergencies.
Sewer construction activities will also take place, in the Southdale Centre. Maintenance crews will continue sewer line inspections and cleaning in the areas south of Wal-Mart to Mt Rose. Sewer line inspections will also occur during the late evening hours along South Jefferson.
The electrical utility will have one crew working along the shoulders of East Fremont, and another working at the Lebanon Market Place. In addition, service crews will be making repairs to streetlights around town.
All utilities will be inspecting and addressing damage due to the recent heavy rainfall.
