Trip Around the Ozarks for April 1, 2015

Hello Everyone!

This Friday Truelove Ministries and the Boswell Family present the Dove Brothers and the Truelove Quartet at Calvary Baptist Church on South Jefferson. Concert starts at 7PM and the doors open at 6PM.

Also this Friday Lebanon Midway Speedway has its opening night of racing with an Easter Egg hunt for the kids! Gates open at 5PM and Racing starts at 8PM.

On Saturday is the 5th Annual Egg-Stavaganza at the Mills Center. There will be thousands of candy filled eggs to be hunted down and found. Registration starts at 8AM and the hunt begins at 10AM. Event is sponsored in part by Life Point Church and the YMCA.

Starting Thursday April 9th for three nights at the Civic Center the Lebanon Area Homeschoolers Drama Troupe presents “The Secret Case of Sherlock Holmes" Join Upstart detectives Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson on their first case. H.G. Wells, has hired them to find a manuscript by Arthur Conan Doyle and from there high jinks ensues. With many levels of depth and humor, this clever murder mystery is a performance not to be missed.

Friday April 10th starts the two day antiques tractor pull competition. Friday the 10th is qualification and Saturday the 11th is the Championship. This event will take place at the Cowan Civic Center. Times are still to be determined.

And for the runners and Fun Walkers out there...

Saturday April 11th join Hairy's Salon for their 7th Annual 5K Run for clean water. Registration starts at 7:30AM and the race starts at 8AM. This event will be happening at the Atchley Park Shelter #2. Preregistration forms are available on Hairy's website.

And for the Music Lovers...

Link Union will be returning to the Civic Center on April 16th for a concert in the Theatre, brought to you by the Lebanon Concert Association. Come join this family of musicians as the take you on a journey through the decades, over the mountains, and across the sea, with classic rock, country, pop, patriotic, spiritual, Celtic, and mountain music. Concert starts at 7PM and tickets can be purchased at the door.

FYI: The next regularly scheduled City Council meeting will be Monday, April 13th in the Council Chambers at City Hall.
