Trip Around the Ozarks for March 18, 2015

Good Morning Everyone!

This Friday in the Cowan Civic Center Theater Truelove Ministries and the Boswell Family will be holding a Free Gospel Concert featuring Michael Combs and the Truelove Quartet. Doors will open at 6PM and the concert will begin at 7PM.

On Saturday will be the annual Rotary pancake breakfast starting at 7 AM in the Cowan Civic Center meeting rooms. The fundraiser will start at 7 AM and end at 1 PM and the cost is three dollars.

And when you're done with your pancakes you can head on into the exhibition Hall for the Cowan Civic Center Community Wide Garage Sale where there will be 140 booths filled with furniture, toys, clothing, sporting-goods, seasonal items and so much more. Admission is free; the garage sale starts at 8 AM and ends at 2 PM.

Also on Saturday, Lebanon Midway Speedway will be opening for a Play Day. Things at the dirt track will kick off at 11AM and end by 4PM. Grandstand is free admission and the pits is a $10 admission fee. If it rains the makeup day will be the 28th.

Starting next Friday, the 27th, is the 3 day USA Preparedness Expo, the Largest Survival and Preparedness EXPO in the USA. Designed to help save your life – Economy, Supply Chain Disruptions, and Natural/Man-made Events. There will be seminars and exhibits. Ticket prices vary so go to the City's events calendar for links to the full details for this event.

Starting us off in April on Saturday the 4th is the 5th Annual Egg-Stavaganza at the Mills Center. There will be 50,000 candy filled eggs to be hunted down and found. Registration starts at 8AM and the hunt begins at 10AM. Event is sponsored in part by Life Point Church and the YMCA.

FYI: The next regularly scheduled City Council meeting will be Monday, March 23rd in the Council Chambers at City Hall.
