Trip Around the Ozarks for February 4, 2015

Good Morning Everyone!

This Saturday and Sunday (2/7-8) the Cowan Civic Center welcomes the Missouri Nationals Wrestling Championship and all those that will be participating. The action begins both days at 9 AM.

For the first time ever the American Cornhole Organization brings the ACO February Major X Tournament to Lebanon's Cowan Civic Center starting Friday February 13th. This two day event will cover divisions from juniors to seniors and everything in between. Must be an ACO member to participate in the competition. This event is open and free to spectators and they have added a little extra surprise for the public. See their website for details: AmericanCornhole.com

On Saturday February 21st Cope will host their 12th Chili Cook-Off. The event will be open to the public from Noon-3 PM for tasting and "people's choice" judging as well as for the silent auction. If you'd like to participate as a competitor www.copeoflebanon.com for additional information.

On Saturday and Sunday February 28th and March 1st the R.K Gun & Knife Show will once again stop at the Cowan Civic Center. you can get more details at www.rkshows.com.

And with much anticipation on March 1st the wait will be over.. Opening day at Bennett Spring State Park. Come on out and join all the people from all over for this time honored tradition.

FYI: The next regularly scheduled City Council meeting will be Monday, Feb. 9th in the Council Chambers at City Hall.
