Boswell Park is located on Historic Route 66. The park features:
  • Three shelters
  • Baseball field with spectator seating, concession stand, and new restrooms
  • Olympic-sized outdoor pool
  • Fenced playground
  • Parking
  • One-mile walking trail
  • Two lighted tennis courts
  • Basketball court

History of the Park
Originally known as Mapelcrest Park, the park now bears the name of its largest benefactor. The Boswell Family donated $100,000 in the late 1970s to provide matching funds to build the outdoor pool. It was then named after James E. Boswell, Jr (1937-1955).
