Street Department
The Street Department for the City of Lebanon is responsible for the maintenance and construction of the streets within the City. Lebanon is one of the rare instances where a municipality performs its own street construction. With a combined total of 25 pieces of heavy equipment and trucks the Street Department is responsible for maintaining over 111 miles of streets; as well as new construction and rebuilding of older streets. During inclement weather construction and maintenance crews are combined and are responsible for clearing and ensuring the safety of the streets for our citizens.
