Responsibilities
The City of Lebanon Community Development Department is responsible for the administration and enforcement of codes, as set forth by the City Council, regulating construction, use or occupancy of buildings and structures. This department administers all zoning, building, access management, and subdivision ordinances adopted by the City Council.

All building permits, electric permits, water permits, sewer permits, and impact fees are issued by this Department.


Within the Community Development Department is a secondary department known as the Compliance Department. The City’s Nuisance Ordinance is administered through the Compliance Department to include such things as grass more than 12 inches tall, trash, junk, debris, etc

The House Inspection Program is administered by the Community Development Department, as well. The Housing Inspection List can be found on the right under Links.
