Cowan Civic Center is a multi-purpose facility which will accommodate conventions, trade shows, expositions, sporting events, theatrical productions, business meetings, and will help individuals meet their health and wellness needs. 1,100 paved parking spaces are available. Lebanon is conveniently located on Interstate 44 in South Central Missouri.

 | The Wellness Center: Located on the upper level, the Wellness Center is equipped with treadmills, stationary bicycles, and a twelve station weight machine. This area can be used for exercise therapy, toning, shaping and cardiovascular workouts. Dressing rooms, showers, and lockers are available.

 | The Meeting Rooms: Small or large groups can be comfortably accommodated in our meeting room facilities. The largest room can handle 300 individuals. Also, the rooms can be tailored for small groups by using professionally designed wall dividers. Each module has its own audio capabilities, slide projector, computer presentation connections, and climate controls. A full, commercial kitchen is available for use by caterers to provide meeting and banquet food requirements.

 | The Theater: This impressive facility is available for the performing arts, business seminars, presentations, church services, dance troupes, shows, and other functions. The theater will comfortably seat about 675 people (including 8 handicapped). It features state-of-the-art acoustical and lighting equipment and because of the way it was designed, every seat has an unrestricted view of the stage. Large dressing and makeup rooms are available for the performers.

Gymnasium and Multi-Purpose Sports Facility: This area was designed and created for today's health-conscious individual and the indoor sports enthusiast. The gym has hardwood floors and is equipped for regulation-play basketball and can also be used for organized sporting events, aerobics, open gym, and other activities. The multi-purpose room is next to the gym and has a rubber 'sports' floor. This area can be used for walking, tennis, volleyball, and similar activities.

 | The Aquatic Center: Available for lap swimming, water aerobics, therapy, or competitive meets is our NCAA approved lap pool. Equipped for year round use, it is enclosed and temperature controlled for maximum enjoyment and benefit. The pool is twenty five meters in length and the depths range from 4 to 6 feet. It is also handicap accessible. Lockers and showers are readily available just off the pool area.

 | The Exhibit Hall: The largest of six connected buildings, covers 46,000 square feet with a seating capacity of 4,000. It can easily showcase exhibits and events of all sizes ranging from displays of 18-wheelers, trade shows, and conventions to rodeos. It boasts advanced sound and lighting systems. An ultra-modern climate-controlled environment provides year-round comfort. Electrical service is furnished through a grid system in the exhibit hall floor. Heavy duty power service is readily available to meet the most demanding requirements for today's popular events. Two large overhead doors provide access by semi trailers for loading and unloading. A separate docking area and staging room also is provided for users' convenience. Equipment for handling of heavy cargo is available at local rental firms.
