Catherine Street Improvements:

The City of Lebanon utilities crew is set to begin improvements on Catherine Street beginning Monday April 10, 2017. The project area is located between Main and South Streets with work commencing at Main Street and concluding at South Street where Catherine connects with Lincoln Street.

Motorists will not be allowed through this project site for the next three months. Main Street, St. Louis Street, Wood Street, Sarah Street and South Street are all roads which intersect with Catherine Street. These streets will also be barricaded to restrict traffic. Motorists must utilize Harwood Avenue as a detour.

The project will begin with the installation of new water and sewer lines before constructing curb, gutter and a new street surface. Completion of this project is schedule for July 1, 2017.

The result of these improvements will benefit residents in the area by offering new more reliable utility services and a smooth safer roadway system. Lebanon appreciates the patience of its residents while these improvements are being made. The Catherine Street improvements project is being funded by Lebanon’s ½ cent transportation sales tax.
