The City of Lebanon Fire Department has changed dramatically over the past decade. Our apparatus and equipment has been updated. Additional personnel are now working full and part time. Fire Station #2 on South Jefferson is staffed 24 hours a day. None of these changes would have been possible without the support of you, our citizens. I cannot say Thank You enough.

We work every day to provide the best service possible to our citizens, visitors, and neighbors. The department manages a number of programs in service to our community. These services include:
  • Fire and life safety inspections
  • Child safety seat program
  • Smoke detector program
  • Fire suppression
  • Emergency medical services
  • Technical rescue
  • Hazardous material mitigation
Our dedicated staff is our most important asset. Without this group of people willing to serve the goals and achievements of the department could not be met. Our staff represents a variety of background, cultures, age, and educational levels.

I encourage you to visit one or both of our fire stations. Our personnel are here to assist in any way we can. As always I am delighted to answer any questions you may have about the City of Lebanon Fire Department.

Yours in Emergency Service,

Sam Schneider
Fire Chief
